Position Overview
As a project architect/project manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing design concepts and solutions for various planning and building projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure that the design vision is realized and meets the client’s needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring design consistency and quality, and seamless collaboration with the project team and other stakeholders.
· Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Conduct regular project meetings, document meetings, and provide clear communication to all parties involved.
· Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
· Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
· Perform site visits to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
· Coordinate construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
· Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
· Facilitate client presentations and meetings, addressing any concerns or changes as necessary.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
· Ensure that all design and construction activities align with the firm’s goals and client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, design, or related field. Licensure is ideal, but not required.
· Minimum of three years of professional experience in architectural design and drafting.
· Minimum of one year in architectural project management
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
· Knowledge of building codes, standards, regulations, and best practices.
· Strong design, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Commitment to social equity, environmental justice, and community-building through design.
· Ability to travel 25%

Full Circle Indigenous Planning + Design offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
