Lead Residential Designer

Would you enjoy designing and drafting high-end, custom homes? We are hiring a Lead Residential Designer for a distinguished residential design firm! We have a brand-new opportunity for a Lead Residential Designer for new construction, high-end single-family homes. The Lead Residential Designer should enjoy designing and drafting the homes people live in, and positively affecting their lives through beautiful and functional designs. Join a 50-year-old firm that is the recipient of many design and construction awards. You will work alongside the owner and principal designer to bring visions to life for remodels, additions, and new construction.

What This Company Offers You:
-Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 -Work with custom home designs where every home is different
-The ability to work on all phases of single-family residential projects
-Utilize AutoCAD to bring custom home designs to life
-Create designs for homes from $400k up to $3M
-Outstanding wage and comprehensive benefit package including 401k match and profit sharing

About You:
-5+ years of professional architecture experience with single family residential projects
-Associates degree in architectural drafting or bachelor’s degree in architecture
-Licensed Architect a plus but not required
-A firm understanding of home construction materials and methods
-The ability to create accurate and concise document sets from permitting and design development, through construction documentation
-Proficient with AutoCAD software
-Ability to work in a team environment
