This ARE review is designed to introduce and prepare ARE candidates for the ARE 5.0 division titled “Construction & Evaluation”. Topics reviewed will include: construction contract execution, construction support services, payment request processing, observation and evaluation during construction, administrative procedures, and project closeout. Also covered will be suggestions for ARE 5.0 study material, general test format, and tips.

As a Project Manager at UMN, Mandi is integrated into both the owner-architect agreements and owner-contractor agreements, and oversees pay applications, construction administration, and project closeout from the owner’s perspective. Mandi is a licensed architect with experience in private architectural firms, and has been involved in dozens of construction projects. She has also served on the ALA Committee for a number of years, including previously co-chairing the committee.
