The Architecture in the Schools (AIS) Committee is seeking volunteers for two big events in August! We will be participating in the Little Africa Festival on August 4th and STEM Day at the Minnesota State Fair on August 22nd.
Please consider volunteering with the AIS Committee at these two exciting events this year, as we are continuing our North Star Story Map activity that has been updated this year with a new ‘City Planning’ activity/component with 3-D modules. It will be a lot of fun, and as we are stepping into some new spaces, it will be exciting to introduce the concepts of architecture to a whole new group of young people!
We need volunteers to:
- Assist with packing/loading up supplies.
- Pick up supplies from the AIA MN office.
- Drop off supplies at the AIA MN office.
- Working the actual festival booth/AIA MN Tent (three-hour Shifts).
