Job Description:
NewStudio Architecture is seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong 3D BIM modeling skills (specifically Revit and Sketchup) and an understanding of building construction. The day-to-day tasks will be dependent on the needs of project teams and the deadlines that need to be achieved, will involve the production of as-built Revit model/drawing sets, and production of construction documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Work efficiently within project deadlines.
  • Works on Revit and the daily management of project data sets/workflows and project setup.
  • Technically deliver Revit + BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM coordination.
  • Work with project leaders to prepare detailed architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical support for Revit + BIM-enabling software applications for the project team
  • Develop Revit content, including families, schedules, templates, etc.
  • Convert point cloud data from 3D scans to detailed as-built Revit models

Qualifications:
  • Either a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Associates Degree in Revit Drafting/BIM, or equivalent 3+ years of progressive experience in Revit, BIM/3D modeling, and visualization tools
  • Strong design and technical skills – proficiency in Revit & Sketchup
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
