Practice Leader – Interior Design

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Practice Leader to spearhead our Interior Design practice. This role combines creative leadership with strategic business acumen to drive growth, innovation, and design excellence across our firm’s projects.

Responsibilities:
-Provide creative leadership for the firm-wide interior design practice, overseeing design quality and innovation
-Assist with the development and implementation of an interior architecture Practice -Business Plan focused on growth strategies and market differentiation
-Pursue business development efforts and marketing activities
-Collaborate with local, regional, market, and office leaders to identify and pursue new client opportunities
-Mentor and develop the interior design team, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance
-Conduct regular design reviews and oversee submissions for design awards and publication
-Translate the firm’s design ethos through innovative project work
-Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive practice growth

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
-Minimum 13 years of experience in design leadership, with at least 5 years leading a design studio or practice segment
-NCIDQ certification preferred
-Proven track record of design excellence, with a portfolio of significant built work
-Strong business acumen and ability to execute strategic initiatives
-Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
-Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead creative teams
