This is a full-time role for an Architect (or Residential Designer) and Design Team Lead. The following is a list of some of the job responsibilities for this role.

It is not an all-inclusive list, but instead intended to give a broad overview of the position.
• Create architectural plans, elevations, and 3D models for custom homes and remodels
• Develop as built drawings
• Conduct client meetings and collaborate with clients to design their home
• Create schematic designs and space plans based upon client expectations
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, city planners, and truss designers to ensure all details are accurately represented and all requirements are met
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and accuracy with plans
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
• Manage permit and variance submittals
• Oversee design team to internally manage projects during the preconstruction phase
• Conduct internal touch base meetings to assist design team members and train members as necessary

Qualifications: 
The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect or a graduate from an architecture program who has completed their AXP and is in the process of taking the ARE’s. We will also consider individuals without architecture degrees who have 10+ years of experience in residential architectural design. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to the architectural and interior design for residential projects, ideally with experience in both new construction and remodeling.

The candidate should be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations and processes are being followed.
• Architecture degree from an accredited program and 8+ years of experience in residential design OR
• 10+ years of residential architectural design experience
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Project Management experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Thorough understanding of project budgets
