Description

We are hiring an architectural Senior Project Designer! This role is pivotal in shaping the design and execution of high-profile projects, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional projects. The ideal candidate has a passion for architectural design, a strong design portfolio, and some experience in project management.

Responsibilities: Design Leadership- Initiate, create, and develop innovative project designs and plans for all phases of one or more projects, ensuring that the design intent is preserved throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Coordination- Coordinate with building design consultants, including structural, MEP, and other trades, to ensure seamless integration of all project components. Oversee and monitor the preparation of detailed design and construction drawings.

Client & Consultant Liaison- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, maintaining clear and consistent communication to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Presentation & Documentation- Prepare high-quality presentation materials, design drawings, and documentation that effectively communicate design ideas to clients, stakeholders, and the project team.

Project Planning- Lead the project planning process, including the development of schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Quality Assurance- Review and ensure that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and adheres to relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of project types and scales. Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program. Architectural licensure is preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if not already licensed. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with BIM processes and tools is an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior designers and architects.
