The Northern Minnesota Chapter hosts several events throughout the year to bring members together for networking and recognition, including the annual golf scholarship fundraiser, a summer outing with CSI, and more.
Project Tours, Socials & CE Events
Members of AIA Northern Minnesota regularly gather for tours of projects — in progress or completed — and for socials following the tours. Continuing Education sessions are also offered in conjunction with other AIA Northern Minnesota events or as stand-alone activities.
Golf Outing
The AIA Northern Minnesota Golf Outing is a fundraiser for architectural degree scholarships. As a result of the participation and generosity of golfers and sponsors connected to the AEC industry in the region, AIA Northern Minnesota has established an endowed scholarship at North Dakota State University, and has nearly reached its fundraising goal for an endowed scholarship at the University of Minnesota. Fundraising is enhanced by funds provided through AIA’s Component Matching Grant Scholarship program. Stay tuned for emails and announcements in Matrix for this summer’s golf outing date and details!
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of AIA Northern Minnesota often includes speakers or tours, in addition to time for connection and catching up. In order to allow for stronger representation from Greater Minnesota members in the Nothern region, the Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the AIA Minnesota Conference in November.
AIA Northern Minnesota & CSI Summer Outing
An annual partnered event of the AIA Northern Minnesota chapter and the local chapter of CSI is a fun social many look forward to each year, often taking place on the Sundew — a great chance to get out on the lake!
