Job Title: Project Architect

Description: Hennepin County Property Services Department Design and Construction Division is seeking a Project Architect with strong skills and experience in the areas of: design and construction management contract administration; facilitating project meetings and /or giving presentations; budget planning, project cost accounting and scheduling. Hennepin County Property Services Department manages the County’s facilities to appropriately, safely, and effectively support a variety of county programs and services, including public safety, human services, libraries, healthcare and general government. The Design and Construction Division provides management expertise for new buildings; as well as preservation and renovation in existing and leased facilities. Best Qualified Candidates will have: • A bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture and four (4) years or more post-registration experience as an Architect including professional experience in project development, preparation of contract documents, construction contract administration, and construction management • Architectural registration, licensed to practice in the State of MN in accordance with MN Statutes 4MCAR 7.001 – 7.022 and Chapter 326.03-53 • Ability to: establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants at all levels; communicate effectively and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles with management and other high level officials; make appropriate timely decisions; manage change effectively; shift priorities; use resources effectively and efficiently; be dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements for customers
Salary: $58,056.96 - $90,294.88 Annually
