The St. Paul Chapter of AIA Minnesota hosts several special events throughout the year to bring members together for networking. It also features several recognition programs including the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Award, the St. Paul Prize Competition, Design Charrettes, and the Unauthorized Design Event.
Food for Thought
AIA St. Paul organizes quarterly lunchtime meetings featuring a speaker who presents on a topic of relevance to the membership. There is no fee for AIA St. Paul members to attend, and lunch is included.
Annual Meeting
A luncheon where chapter members are updated on the past year’s chapter events, financials and vote on new Board members and by-law changes. The Annual Meeting is typically held in October.
St. Paul Prize Competition
This annual design competition is open to interns and architects within seven years of receiving an architectural degree. The competition is held during the fall each year. Learn more.
Student Scholarships
AIA St. Paul annually awards a University of Minnesota, School of Architecture and Dunwoody College of Technology, School of Design students with a merit-based scholarships. This year’s scholarship was enhanced by a grant from AIA’s Component Matching Grant Scholarship program.
