Scholarships and Fundraising
The Scholarships and Fundraising Committee plans the annual golf outing, a fundraising event whose proceeds go to the AIA Northern Minnesota scholarship endowments at the University of Minnesota and North Dakota State University, and explores other scholarship fundraising opportunities.

Draughting Club
The northern AEC community is welcome to join the AIA Northern Minnesota Draughting Club every first Wednesday of the month from 4:00–5:00 pm at Canal Park Brewing Company in Duluth to network and socialize. Food will be provided courtesy of the AIA Northern Minnesota board.

Student Outreach
The Student Outreach Committee focuses on developing and delivering, directly or through partnership with local organizations, educational programs for elementary school, middle school, and high school students and faculty in the region. These programs aim to engage and inspire young students by introducing basic concepts that underpin the work of architects, providing insight into the creative design process, and promoting the importance and value of the profession.

Women in Architecture
The AIA Northern Minnesota Women in Architecture Committee is in the process of planning an exhibition in partnership with Glensheen on women in the northern Minnesota architecture community.

The Focus on Downtown Duluth Committee is currently exploring how architects can help support downtown Duluth, particularly through a potential partnership or collaboration with the Duluth Waterfront Collective.
