Duluth, Minn. October 30, 2019 — Tony Mancuso, Director of Property Management for St. Louis County, is the recipient of the 2019 AIA Northern Minnesota Community Builder Award.

 

Each year, the Northern Community Builder Award recognizes an individual, team or organization that has made a significant contribution to the built environment in the communities and industries of the AIA Northern Minnesota Chapter area. Nominees are evaluated for their impact in five areas: design excellence, environmental stewardship, community resilience, economic sustainability, and social consciousness.

 

Mancuso has been a long-time advocate for energy conservation, water conservation, and renewable energy programs within the facilities of St. Louis County. He has been a tireless supporter of improving the built environment in an area that covers a significant part of the AIA Northern Minnesota chapter area.

 

Mancuso works diligently with design teams to push the envelope with innovative ideas. He constantly leads by example in making the communities within St. Louis County better by improving the built environment. Mancuso received his award at the annual AIA Northern Minnesota Chapter annual meeting on October 29, 2019 in Duluth, Minnesota.
