Join us for the thirteenth annual Homes by Architects Tour and virtually explore 17 homes located throughout Minnesota from the comfort and safety of your own home on September 26–October 10, 2020.
AIA Minnesota prides itself on delivering events of the highest caliber and quality, and the annual Homes by Architects Tour is no exception. By hosting the 2020 tour virtually, the organization is prioritizing the health and safety of its members, their staff and volunteers, clients, and the nearly 2,400 tour goers who participate in the event.
We are excited by the opportunities that a virtual format offers to create a home tour that is rich, diverse, and—most importantly—more inclusive. This year, people from across the country will be able to experience the exceptionalism of our local residential architecture community from the comfort of home. No shoe covers, long car rides, bathroom stops, and fighting crowds to take in the fine architectural details and innovative solutions our tour homes feature. This year’s tour promises to be different, but inspiring nonetheless.
Tour goers will see fresh kitchen remodels, thoughtful new builds that embrace their natural surroundings, an updated loft, and the rest of the best that the residential architecture industry has to offer. Visit the website to get a sneak peek and explore what makes each project distinctive and inspiring.
We know that one special aspect of the tour is speaking with the architects who designed the homes. Stay tuned for virtual opportunities to connect with the architects during the tour timeframe.
