||The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) has immediate openings for two Design Project Managers witthin the Planning studio of the organization. Planning currently consists of 15 design and planning professionals responsible for long-range and system-wide planning, designing and overseeing capital construction projects, and the community engagement efforts that accompany the work. This is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that demands a broad spectrum of design and project management and engagement skills. The planning studio plays a substantial role in guiding and carrying out design and planning vision for the Minneapolis park system.
The Design Project Managers are responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing capital park improvements in the MPRB system.
Minimum Qualifications include a
Bachelor's degree with a major in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field (Master's degree preferred), 4 years of experience in park-related design and/or engineering, 6 years of experience in all phases of construction project management, 4 years of experience in community engagement in a public setting, valid driver's license, and a state license in either landscape architecture, civil engineering or architecture.
