| Description: | Chanhassen, MN, US Architectural Technician-CHA02205 Description Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches. Upholds the fulfillment of Life Time Fitness' Mission Statement. Responsibilities - Makes final sketch of proposed drawings, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used and the relation of one part to another - Drafts electronic drawings using AutoCAD - Updates detailed drawings and corrects problems on blueprints - Creates drawings for new projects - Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings - Inks in lines and letters on pencil drawings - Creates color exhibits for submittal to local government agencies, land-owners and architectural control committees - Draws finished designs from sketches - Supports the architects as requested - Develops and maintains system of prototypical details and standards. Qualifications - Two-year college degree in Architectural Drafting or related field - Four-year college degree in Architecture preferred - Four years experience with AutoCAD and prototypical drawings - Four years experience with commercial construction projects preferred - Working knowledge of Revit - Working knowledge of various graphic rendering programs: Sketch Up Adobe Suite (photoshop, illustrator) - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to operate a personal computer - Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment - Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions - Ability to follow-through on deliverables and pay attention to details in the midst of multiple projects and deadlines - Proficient with AutoCAD operating software - Knowledge of architectural drafting standards and conventions - Knowledge of building systems and assemblies - Knowledge of color rendering software used in the production of color exhibits Primary Location: : MN-Chanhassen - COR - Corporate Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job Please apply online at: http://jobs.lifetimefitness.com/job/Chanhassen-Architectural-Technician-Job-MN-55317/2422272/ |
