||Ryan has a number of exciting housing projects under construction and on the boards, from high-rise to wood-framed to historic rehabs. We have a career opportunity for a Senior Architect to lead the efforts of the A+E department for these projects. This individual will act like a principal in a traditional firm - responsible for overall project success on multiple projects, from pursuit through turnover.
This position is responsible for collaborating in an integrated project delivery process unique to Ryan, which generally includes project teams consisting of architects, real estate developers and builders. Other responsibilities include supervising the work of a staff of architects and technicians, mentoring our staff, leading architectural communications with our clients, and supporting marketing and business development activities.
Successful candidates will demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature, authoritative architectural judgment in anticipating and solving architectural problems, both design and technical in nature, from programming through construction administration. Candidates must have excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills in addition to proven experience leading the overall A+E efforts decisions.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 15 years experience in apartment, student housing, senior/assisted living. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Architectural registration are required. Master’s degree is preferred.
