Beverly E. Hauschild-Baron (BHB) Leadership Fund
The BHB Leadership Fund was established in 2001 to recognize Beverly Hauschild-Baron's 25 years of service to AIA Minnesota. Its purpose is to help develop ongoing leadership for AIA Minnesota by providing financial support for AIA Minnesota members and AIA Minnesota staff pursuing Leadership Training. Funding is provided through designated donations and other private support.
BHB Fund Active in Leadership Forum
BHB Fund committee members actively participated in the development of the curriculum and selection of participants for the first AIA Minnesota Leadership Forum that launched in January 2010. The BHB Fund also provided scholarships to two of the forum participants.
Supporting this new program financially was a perfect fit for the BHB Fund, based on the forum’s mission: to engage a diverse group of AIA Minnesota members in understanding and strengthening their leadership skills in the areas of communication, ethics, motivation, community outreach and mentorship.
In its first three months, the forum has drawn great praise from participants and presenters alike. The BHB Leadership Fund also sponsors the final Leadership Keynote Speaker at the AIA Minnesota Convention. This presentation is designed to be inspirational and thought provoking, thus providing a positive conclusion to the AIA Minnesota Convention. Previous speakers included:
