Anyone can hire an Architect!
Whether you are looking into how or if a commercial architect may help you with larger-scale or community projects or looking into using an architect for a smaller-scale new, remodeled or renovated home, AIA Minnesota is the right place for you to start.
AIA Minnesota - a community of members who share similar professional interests -benefits from a collective voice and conduct. We hold juries, award programs, publish a magazine, lobby for laws governing architecture, and support continuing professional education for our members. We do these things to improve the profession, call out what is best practice, be the forum for discussion, and educate ourselves and the public.
You may enjoy subscribing to our bi-monthly magazine Architecture Minnesota, reading our monthly e-newletter Matrix, and referencing our AIA Minnesota publications regarding Working with an Architect.
Don't forgot to search the Firm Directory, which is updated annually in the May/June issue of Architecture Minnesota. It provides extensive search capabilities and listings of firms' most recent projects.
AIA Minnesota's residential architect community is very active. From consultations and awards programs - to most recently - our Homes by Architects Tour, the community of architects available to the public in Minnesota is talented and diverse.
Watch for our Home of the Month program, published in the StarTribune's Homes section on the first Saturday of each month. You may also attend our annual RAVE Awards program and get tickets for our Homes by Architects Tour each September.
